Young Charlie grew up in quiet Lincolnshire, Illinois and started singing in choirs when he realized it was the only activity that would celebrate his natural loudness of being. He later relocated to the West Coast to attend UCLA and was so distracted by the weather (it was warm!) and the women (they were tan!) that he completely forgot he loved performing and somehow ended up with a bachelor's degree and a nine to five job. Now a grizzled veteran of corporate life, Charlie cherishes the chance to welcome singing back into his life in the form of The Silver Lake Chorus. The rest of his free time is split between intense hikes and even intenser happy hours.
