A native Angeleno, Sam grew up on the mean streets of Brentwood (as some call it, the "Brent-Hood") before making her way to the utopic, tree-hugging, navel-gazing, pastoral haven that is Vassar College, where she studied consciousness. After moving back to LA, completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology, building a cozy private practice in Hollywood, and releasing her first record (Goldstar Galaxy, available on iTunes ), Sam realized it was high time to reconnect with her favorite way to make love to the universe--singing in harmony. She decided to form The Silver Lake Chorus and found that, just as for Kevin Costner, if you build it, they will come.
